KLC also conducts the National Field Experience Conference on university campuses across the 50 states in the U.S.A., and is proud to boast of  10 very successful years to date.  The purpose of the National Field Experience Conference is to bring together professional faculty and staff who work with teacher candidates in field experiences, from the first classroom exposure through Student Teaching and/or Teaching Residency, to share current and relevant information, practices, policies, and research pertaining to teacher candidates’ experiences in school settings. Presentations and round table discussions address the preparation, supervision, and evaluation of teacher candidates for their knowledge, skills, and dispositions. Logistics, management, and supervision of these placements is also addressed.
